The Idea
The seller creates a few designs and he wants his customers to be able
to further personalize those for their own needs.
Note
This T shirt is personalized only for a particular buyer. It should not be available in the CafePress Marketplace.
Option 1. Create a special page
"PERSONALIZE It" where the buyer can personalize a given
design. We can then either send the buyer through the Create and Buy
experience to buy the Shirt. The seller can make Affiliate commission this
way. Option 2. Alternatively,
the seller can create a tool on his site where he allows his customers to
create personalized shirts, upload these in a hidden section is the sellers
store and then buy it through the regular checkout flow ...product
page/cart etc. The seller earns the markups and volume bonus commission this
way.
Plan
Phase 1 - support jpg, png, gif, transparency. Max Image size 2MB.The Actual image will be uploaded to Cafepress servers.
Phase 2 - More Products, Phase 3- Bigger Size images, 2 phase download (Get thumbnail
images real-time while ordering on the site, get the bigger image while fulfilling the order)

A.) Sellers - Setup the Product Templates in a CafePress Store.
